Computers have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. My father brought home the very first generations of home PCs, and I took them apart and put them back together like Lego. At eight years old I gave my first presentation at school — on computer hardware and components. It lasted well over an hour. Most of the teachers had come in specially to listen.

I was one of the first people in the Netherlands on the commercial internet — first via dial-up, then one of the country's first cable connections. I spent an unreasonable amount of time online, in digital environments, playing with what was possible. That curiosity never left. It just evolved.

I spent 15+ years in leadership and transformation roles — running businesses, leading agile transformations across international teams, guiding organisations through complex change. Along the way I earned a master's in Management & Economics and a bachelor's in Molecular Life Sciences — an unusual combination that gave me both the business instinct and the scientific rigour to separate signal from noise.

Then AI arrived, and everything clicked. That kid who gave hour-long presentations on hardware, who lived on the early internet, who had spent a career helping organisations change — suddenly had a tool that brought it all together. For the first time I could go from idea to delivered product in a matter of days. The gap between imagination and execution disappeared. It felt like everything I had been working toward.
